So we've been pretty busy as of late with various commissions, but we're still planning a few things of our own!
First, last_chance_myu will be getting together at Nan Desu Kan 2010 for a photoshoot, so we're busy revamping the costumes. Three years of wear and tear on the stage have taken their toll!
Next, we'll be revamping our Sera Myu 3 Lights costumes for some fun play times with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.2) rushing_wind.
We've also put together a full Sailor Moon Princess group - and we'll be hosting a tea party for all those involved in the gathering! Patti will be baking up some delicious noms for the occasion.
Because we miss her dearly and wanted to see her again, we've all chipped in and will be flying the beautiful sunseenli out to join in our shenannigans. With that thought in mind, we'll finally be making the Silver Millenium set that we've been putting off for a couple of years.
And finally, we'll be rewearing our Yuki and Kyo school uniforms on Sunday, along with a good chunk of our friends.
We've got a lot of hard work ahead of us, but it will be worth it in the end.

The special we're running right now is if you buy $20 worth of merchandise, you get a free gift. We'll be adding even more merchandise again soon, as soon as I can get new pictures. Also, if you have Facebook, feel free to join in on our craft page. Feed back is appreciated, so that we can make a better product.
We also take custom requests. Feel free to pm/email me for a quote. I realize the market is saturated right now, so I'm doing my best to keep our prices affordable and offer items that are (hopefully) a little different.

| Steph & I now have a Facebook for our cosplays & commissions. It is called Starnigh Industries - Starlit Creations. Please check it out!
In the meantime, we have been taking a hiatus from the cosplay front. In September, we moved from Saint Petersburg, Florida to Fort Collins, Colorado. Steph is now gainfully employed and I am working on our business and going back to school. I've also been taking commissions. :D
Next year, we have several projects we'll be rolling out - things we already have planned and have purchansed materials for. XD We have a photoshoot planned for the spring for our Sesshoumaru and Inu Yasha costumes, and we will (hopefully) be attending Animeland Wasabi in Denver, Colorado as well.
Other than that, not much to report. More updates to come next year, but in the meantime, do keep an eye out on last_chance_myu - we have a few surprises up our sleeve coming soon! | | comments: Leave a comment |

This is where Steph's at so far on her costume. Not too shabby.
Unfortunately, they are now offically on hold, as we are going to concentrate completely on the show Last Chance Myu has coming up for Metrcon 2009. If I haven't mentioned before, it's a Miyuki tribute show. Since this is our 4th show, we wanted to try something a bit more ambitious. We've got 9 new songs.

| OK, it's about time I started posting over here. I'm going to start putting up some public stuff on what we've done (cosplay-wise), what we're doing, and what we're considering for the future. I might even post some tutorials, provided people are interested.
Would you be interested in seeing how we make some of our more complicated stuff? It is amazing how many details people overlook when making a costume. ^^;
To start with, we recently made our first (test) batch of resin gems. We decided to do something simple - and related to an upcoming holiday so that we can give away the fruits of our labor. We found some silicon molds at the dollar store, and used them for the casting. They aren't perfect, but for our vary first trial, they are pretty good.
If anyone would like more information on how we did it, the steps we used, and so on, let me know and I'll post them.
In the meantime, we're going to play a bit more with the resin goop. We're making Eternal Sailor Neptune and Eternal Sailor Uranus, and we'd like to cast various pieces of our costumes (stars, gems) not only for us, but for the girls in our group. But before we tackle that, we have to make the molds and we have to get a little better at the resin casting.
